IAP2 Framework and Better Together Principles

ODE follows the internationally recognised International Association of Public Participation (IAP2) framework and the South Australian Government’s Better Together principles to establish effective stakeholder engagement strategies.

ODE utilises a variety of engagement tools, recognising that different stakeholders require varying methods to express their opinions effectively. Our approach includes face-to-face, and paper-based engagement resources plus a range of online tools to ensure inclusive participation.

Comprehensive Stakeholder Engagement Planning

Working collaboratively with project teams, ODE develops comprehensive Stakeholder Engagement Plans. These include thorough stakeholder analysis and mapping, and diverse engagement tools and activities. The Plan will also outline agreed engagement and communication protocols and how they will be implemented, ensuring transparency and accountability.
